You can see our Course outline here. Currently we offer on-line training videos, these videos are available for download and remote viewing from our on-line store. Our other option is for a On-Site Live Training event. This can be a privately held training class in your business, or town, or can be a public training event with you as a sponsor.

Synopsis: Learn with Dennis Burgess Link Technologies, Inc presents our 5-Day RouterOS Workshop. This course combines several advanced and the basic RouterOS training package together into one 5-Day course! This course includes BGP, OSPF, RouterBOARD hardware, net installation, Traffic Shaping, Firewalling, Routing, and many other topics. See the course outline for a detailed information.
Class Schedule: The current schedule is to meet in the conference room at 9AM CST, on September 26th. We will continue till around 5 PM CST, taking about ½ hour for a lunch break. Lunch is not provided, there are several places within walking distance.
Training Room Requirements:
The training class is designed around a Windows XP or newer,
we cannot support other OS installations.
YOU WILL NEED to bring a Windows
based Laptop, power supply, and power strip.
WIFI access will be available for internet access.
Please also bring any other routers that you feel you may
wish to use in your test envrontment as well as a
tested and working Null Modem Cable with your laptop.
Recommended knowledge prior to course: You need to know basic routing, and IP subneting. You should also have a good understanding of what the differences are between layer 2 and layer 3 in the OSI model. I would recommend that you have used RouterOS routers for at least 6 months prior to attending the course. If you have not, you will learn a lot of information, however, the testing may prove to be difficult.

A PC based laptop (window XP+ is preferred)
Note, we cannot support MAC or Linux OS’s in the class – You can use them though.
Cat5 Cables (preferable bring two just in case!)
Power Strip – You never know if you need more power!
A Tested – Null Modem Cable with the laptop you are bringing
This means that you have used your laptop with a Null modem cable into a serial port on a RouterBOARD product
This is needed for part of the course!
If you don’t have a serial port, get a USB to Serial converter!

This is a private training course, so only employees of
your business can attend, if you wish to sell extra seats,
the public sponsored course is the one for you!
The Sponsored training is
the same course as the Public 5-Day courses, however, your
business may have a number of students to send. In
this case, you can send your students, but also
resell,yep resell, seats to
the course, up to 15 students can participate in this
course! Your business can bring Certified Mikrotik
Trainers on-site and to your part of the country!
You can set the seat price, we will also advertise it as a
public course on our website to asset you in selling seats.
